You may ask why does it matter?

A: There have been many articles written about pet health and many media stories regarding issues concerning artificial colours and flavouring in pet foods and the effect on your beloved family pet.  Like our own diets we require a balanced, nutritional menu to achieve optimal health, our pets need the same balance and nutrition for their own individual needs.

However, do not think that a pet’s diet should mimic our own. A healthy dog for instance needs more fat in their diet to maintain a healthy coat, skin and immune system.  Chicken fat (obtained from the tissues of chickens) contains one of the highest sources of linoleic acid. Nature’s Gift ® - All Natural canned food contains chicken meat so there is a natural occurrence of linoleic acid.
