Dear Nature's Gift

Mo became quite ill; vomiting and lack of appetite. We took him to the animal hospital and they told us we must change Mo’s diet. Mo would not eat anything else but boiled chicken. We tried over a period of 7 years to change his diet with no success.

So we decided to try Nature’s Gift. Mo took to this food and has been eating it for a few weeks now and loves it. Mo is much more energetic, his coat has improved and we are just so happy to see Mo enjoying his food.

Just wanted to share my thoughts about finding a completely ” honest, healthy, natural pet food on the shelves of a very “Pal” & “Chum” dominated industry. Nature’s Gift is certainly that : a gift to our furry friends in a can or a bag!!
I, too, are the owner of 3 dogs & 4 cats, being extremely careful & conscious about what i give them too eat nowadays. After relenting years ago & started purchasing endless amounts of the abovementioned brands due to my very busy lifestyle & working long hours, my 3 girls where constantly being bombarded with itchy skin & many a time soft stools after consuming it. I was always at the vet’s for medications, lotions etc...

I was so fed up, i got online & started researching natural ingredients in pet food & BINGO , I found your website.
It’s been over 12 months now, in addition to their Nature’s gift diet, they also love their raw bones & their treats, I also use Omega 3,6,9 oil on their food & have not had one complaint of itchy skin or yucky poos!!

Everyone i come in contact with who is a dog or cat owner/lover, i ask them to consider your products if they already haven't. I know your product is real, it’s aussie-made & it’s a better alternative to the “nasty, unhealthy” choices that the bigger companies have provided.  I believe the pet food industry marketing & advertising plays a pivotal role in how consumers decide what to buy & where to buy their pet food. Hopefully one day, though Natures Gift will be the first choice on the stockists shelves as the main supplier to all Australian pet families.

Your website is not only a way obviously to sell & advertise your pet food but i was extremely impressed by other important, invaluable information regarding pet care in general you have written for the general public to read especially the opposing of Puppy Farming.

i just wanted to let you guys know that all of my 4 legged babies love your tin dog food. Having 5 fussy dogs, its very hard to satisfy their appetites. I resorted to having to make my own doggie cuisine casserole as they would eat nothing on the market. i have tried literally all brands as price is no problem when it comes to the babies. Nature's Gift is a life saver when it comes to filling in meals when i run out of my own food. My family consists of:

Thank you for a wonderful product!

For the last few months my dog Buddy has been scratching constantly. He had no fleas or mites so after searching the internet as to what might be causing it, I decided to change his diet to a more natural product.

Pet shop food was too expensive, so I decided to try Nature's Gift.Not only did he stop scratching almost instantly, he absolutely loves his dinner time now and licks the bowl clean, instead of leaving half of it. He especially likes the beef & liver and kangaroo tins.

Toilet stops are much more pleasant as well. Buddy is 9 now and starting to slow down a bit, but as you can see from the photo attached, he is back to his old happy self now that he is not scratching constantly and having lots of fun again. I will definitely recommend your product to my friends and family. Keep up the good work.

Hello, I’m a big fan of your tinned dog food and so is my greyhound, Marnie. I’ve never before with any dog purchased tinned food but since my friend tried it with her jack russell and recommended it I gave it a go. That was about 6 months ago and I can’t speak highly enough of your product. Thanks for finally putting a tinned food on the market that is of a high quality and value for money, the range is also impressive. I would like to see your products take over the market share the PAL currently has and I’ll do my best to convert as many people as I can!!!

I remember the days before Nature's Gift was even canned, buying it fresh from Mordialloc. I continued to support N.G when it moved across to Moorabbin and started to cook the same great product in a can, this product was even better as it kept all the natural fats and vitamins in the can which has done wonders for Sako skin.

Sako only goes to the Vet once a year for his inoculations as this food has kept him healthy to this day! He is the oldest dog on record I know for sure at the Vet and I am lead to believe in Victoria. This sings all the praise to a great lifestyle and of course Thanks to Nature's Gift all Natural range.

Sako is now 20 years old (born 7 December 1988) and still going strong and if he continues living his healthy life, he will make the Guinness Book of Records as the World's Oldest Dog in March 2010.

My 13 year old Blue Heeler/Kelpie cross has found a new lease on life through the Biogestion5 dry dog food made by Nature's Gift!

My little dog - Effe - was diagnosed with cancer of the bladder (TCC) in late June 2009. She is on an anti-inflammatory medicine and was also on an antibiotic for about 3-4months. While Effe has responded well to the treatment, it is no cure: the cancer is inoperable and there is no effective chemotherapy at this time for this type of cancer. The antibiotic began to cause Effe to throw up her food: she lost a kilo (from 13.6kg down to 12.6kg) in weight and was also throwing up her all-important, anti-inflammatory medicine.

I took her off the antibiotic (on vet's advice) and tried different foods and feeding regimes but my little dog just couldn't keep her food or medicine down. Effe was becoming listless and unhappy and was very troubled by the bladder cancer. I was preparing myself to have her put to sleep rather than let her suffer. Unexpectedly the universe smiled on me and Effe and through a friend of a friend we were gifted a packet of Biogestion. I read the packet and thought "Yes! This sounds like the right stuff for Effe". She has always loved Nature's Gift canned food and its the same story with the new kibble.

I gave her small amounts of the kibble at first and she ate it eagerly, but most importantly, she kept it down. Effe has now since finished the first packet and more importantly, she hasn't thrown up ANY of the Biogestion5! As I said, I was at a loss as to how to help my little dog and through a chance gift Effe has bounced back into the fun, food and life-loving little dog everybody loves so much.

I just hope other dog lovers can learn how effective Biogestion5 can be in repairing and maintaining healthy digestion in dog (I had previously bought a $30 bag of specialised-sold-by-vets-only dog kibble which Effe was unable to digest when affected by the antibiotics). You're on to a good formula with Biogestion5 and I can't thank you all enough for giving Effe and I some extra happy times together.

Just wanted to say how much my two fussy little chihuahuas can be at dinner time. THEY LOVE Natre's Gift wet food!!!

Charisma had really bad itchy skin. Every three months we would have to take her to the vet for a shot. Since eating the canned food, she no longer has itchy skin.

Her little brother Charlie is a complete guts when it comes to Nature's Gift licking the bowl after each meal.

Dear Nature's Gift - Sir / Madam,

Some six years ago we were living on the Sunshine Coast at Bli Bli and our little dog was pretty healthy and active. Due to a variety of reasons we decided to move to a retirement village. Not long after this move, Patsy our Belgian Griffin began to go downhill health wise. We took her to the vet who practiced both vet medicine and homeopathy. He was quite sure he knew what her condition was and prescribed a course of injections and medication. After some time and no progress with Patsy we tried another vet who gave her a cortisone injection. This did work for a while.

The problem with the little dog was her skin and eyes. Her skin surface was dry and scaly. She would not stop scratching. We became fed up with Village Life & moved to our present location. Two more vets were consulted & one was determined the problem was caused by mites & more injections were given. These made Patsy very unwell. I took here to another vet and we were back on cortisone.

Finally about a month ago I saw your cans in the supermarket & bought a couple. Since then she has had nothing else but your Veal Turkey & Veg. My husband & I have been absolutely astonished. This poor unhappy little dog who had twice lost most of her fur was only happy when lying close to us & whom people invariably avoided was jumping about & growing new fur & looking for her ball & toys!! We even now barely believe the change, it's absolutely amazing.

So I first want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love my little dog and have been so unhappy for her. God bless you all there at 4 Birdum Street.
